What is Zabbix
Zabbix is the ultimate enterprise-level software designed for monitoring availability and performance of IT infrastructure components. Zabbix is open source and comes at no cost.
With Zabbix it is possible to gather virtually limitless types of data from the network. High performance real-time monitoring means that tens of thousands of servers, virtual machines and network devices can be monitored simultaneously. Along with storing the data, visualization features are available (overviews, maps, graphs, screens, etc), as well as very flexible ways of analyzing the data for the purpose of alerting.
Thresholds of acceptable limits for incoming data can be set. As soon as those thresholds are surpassed, Zabbix can deliver e-mail notifications informing network administrators about the current or a potential problem.
Zabbix offers great performance for data gathering and can be scaled to very large environments. Distributed monitoring options are available with the use of Zabbix proxies. Zabbix comes with a web-based interface, secure user authentication and a flexible user permission schema. Polling and trapping is supported, with native high performance agents gathering data from virtually any popular operating system; agent-less monitoring methods are available as well.
Web monitoring as well as monitoring of WMware virtual machines is possible with Zabbix. Zabbix can automatically discover network servers and devices, as well as perform low-level discovery with methods of automatically assigning performance and availability checks to discovered entities.
Why Choose Zabbix
There are many reasons to choose the Zabbix solution over its competitors. The best way to make sure it is the #1 choice for your organization is to give it a try. Before you start though, consider the following benefits of using Zabbix:

Elemental Cloud
Overview
Elemental® Cloud is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) that securely manages high-volume live and on demand video solutions in combination with the scale and elasticity of the cloud. The service automatically provisions and dynamically scales virtual Elemental instances, and can seamlessly integrate those resources with on site infrastructure to instantly expand video processing capacity. This flexibility enables video providers to rapidly enhance multiscreen video offerings, grow audiences, generate greater revenues, and decrease capital expenses.
Experience the Benefits
Capture New Viewers
The proliferation of viewing devices makes video delivery possible to a wider audience than ever before. New tablets and smart phones are flooding the market, but to reach them, providers must convert video libraries at irregular intervals to support numerous screen sizes and resolutions. Elemental Cloud lets video suppliers quickly and easily expand infrastructure to seamlessly scale with market growth.
Protect Your Audience
Media coverage of breaking news can unexpectedly drive demand for archived video from documentaries, interviews and other content. This influx of usage can overwhelm processing equipment and constrain production of key assets, driving viewers to other outlets. By using Elemental Cloud to elastically scale video processing up and down during these events, content providers can ensure transcoding capacity is always in line with demand.
Extract Unrealized Revenue
The emerging multiscreen ecosystem is creating new revenue opportunities for archived content, but supporting the infrastructure for a one time project to convert a video library into new distribution formats can be cost prohibitive. Elemental’s flexible, hybrid model provides access to infinite resources by conditioning large in-house data for secure, high-speed delivery to the cloud.
Maximize Existing Investments
Many companies overinvest in video infrastructure to avoid capacity shortages caused by market growth or usage spikes. Elemental Cloud enables providers to procure just the right amount of hardware to fulfill regular processing requirements, while leveraging cloud resources to keep pace with variable demand. This allows media professionals to economically balance transcoding capacity and optimize the video infrastructure they already have.

"excellent phone, like it better than my iphone 4S"
leavethepack
Pros
I like the hub, storymaker and being able to assign songs from my music library as ringtones for contacts, quick and easy photo editing options.
Cons
Battery life is better than my iphone was but not as good as the Z30, wish the camera had more megapixels
Summary
I had read many positive reviews on the Z10 from actual users and that's what convinced me to switch from my iphone 4S. I had been waiting for my contract to be up with my mobile service provider before getting a Z10 but when they became available unlocked on the shop blackberry website for $299 I couldn't resist. I am really pleased I made the switch and didn't listen to the negative reviews from some supposed experts. I recently went on a trip to South America and my BB Z10 took hundreds of photos and videos for a very memorable vacation. Being unlocked, you can just pop in a microsd sim card and use it in any country's GSM cell phone network. A lot cheaper than international roaming rates. My Iphone 4S on the other hand quit on me the last time I went on vacation and I was without a phone, or wifi or camera for practically the entire trip. Needless to say, I'm not an iphone fan. I have downloaded android apps from the amazon store and I am only missing one of the apps that I had on my iphone. For the price, the Z10 can't be beat.

"I really regret getting this phone."
Fran120
Pros:
Good coverage, good camera, easy to use, easy to text
Cons:
Freezes constantly, Not many apps to download and I am too scared to download anything anyway in case it gets worse if that is possible
Summary:
I have been a loyal Blackberry user for years However I really regret getting this phone. The purpose of this phone is to make calls, receive and send text, receive and send email and the odd photo. I know I ask a lot Lol This phone is vertually unusable. It is not uncommon for me to have to restart it 9 times in one hour. With the slow boot up there is not much actual time that I can use it. There is very little support for this phone. I have approached 3 store in NZ for support and been turned away as they no longer sell this product. Not much point in a phone you cannot use to make calls or text etc Also the battery does not perform as stated. I often have to charge it during the working day. Instead of a work tool this is a nightmare. It constantly freezes and often will not even allow me to end a call.Do yourself a favour and dont purchase it or even accept it for free

"Samsung S4 was great until I picked the blackberry z10."
blackbz10
Pros:
Easy to use,Good display, smooth, nice business apps.Good build quality.
Cons:
Hard to unlock the ATT version. To this day it cannot be unlocked.
Summary:
I am hoping blackberry makes a good comeback. I disagree with new CEO's idea to stick with physical keyboards. Common blackberry CEO that physical keyboard is old. The BB10 is fine just weather the storm for now and eventually blackberry will catch up with android. Android is over rated compared to BB10. Windows suck.

"Professional Unique Smart Phone! A++++"
vprolix
Pros:
Camera quality is excellent of picture results.
Great interface with apps of quality.
Wonderful headphones with bass stereo -- quality sound
Great keyboard with good t9 that corrects mispelled words instantly and learns from your speech.
Cons:
Camera couldn't handle moving objects too well.
The power button could be easier to press to turn on.
Battery life could be improved.
Not able to turn off T9 when using slang during chat.
MicroSD card required when using Blackberry Link
Summary:
I enjoy Android and adore the Iphone interface, but I'm completely satisfied with my Blackberry Z10. Dropped it twice on accident and almost cried afterwards, but still works great. Quite a sturdy phone, add ghost armor and a case to it and you're all set! I was considering on getting the Q10 but I love my Z10 for it's larger screen size and T9 keyboard.Very nice phone, though people have mentioned the number of apps are much less then Iphone & Android, but I believe the apps in Blackberry World are better quality and less junk. The camera is decent, quite nice quality. Overall, as a Blackberry user for the past 15 years -- this has surpassed my expectations of RIM which may explain the 20% increase in their sales from the previous month. Such a satisfying smart phone, I enjoy the interface and the original apps that came with the phone that gives me no regret of choosing this phone over the Blackberry Q10, Iphone 4S, or Android. This Blackberry is now not just great for business use, but also personal. I give this model of Blackberry two thumbs up.

"BB10 operating system is clunky and behind IOS."
BBFan77
Pros:
Nice screen size, durable, replaceable battery, time shift camera, flick typing with very good word/thought prediction, Neutron HiFi music player, speakerphone, blinking notification light, improved browser, decent browser, and Hub is a good concept.
Cons:
Desktop software, clunky OS and keyboard, battery life, apps, visual voicemail, lock screen notifications, auto dials, music player, unlocking, cutting and pasting, jittery videos, no docking cradles, micro-USB, alarm clock, and cheap materials.
Summary:
I had high hopes for this phone, and even talked my wife into one, with both units on Verizon. My wife was a former iPhone user and hated the phone immediately due to issues with making the swiping work easily, and after a few weeks returned it and paid full price for an iPhone 5. I was a former Bold 9900 user, and with the Q10 not out yet at the time, I decided to try the Z10. I hung in there for six months as I really like the BlackBerry strength around messaging, and was intrigued by "Hub and Flow" as designed by The Astonishing Tribe. I just found that the operating system and keyboard (yes, the keyboard), very clunky and lacking precision. The desktop software is terrible (BB Link for Mac), making simple tasks such as downloading photos and music a really slow and frustrating experience. The browser rendering of email images requires a manual resize each time. Battery life is just fair, making the ability to swap out the battery a must and requires the additional cost to buy the battery kit. Call quality is good, but the phone too easily calls on its own - more than any phone that I have had. Overall, just a rough design in many ways that lacks precision.
I finally decided to buy an unlocked iPhone 5s, and am happy with this decision that was an expensive one to make. Unlike the Z10, the iPhone 5s is a work of true precision, from the outer case, to the operating system, lightning connector, computer software, camera, and keyboard (yes, it is better than the Z10, in both my view and my wife's). Now that I can see the many amazingly good and useful apps on IOS, plus the advanced features of smooth-running IOS 7 (especially thumb i.d. to easily unlock the screen vs. the buggy lock screen opening on the Z10), it is obvious how BlackBerry is very, very far behind the times with the BlackBerry 10 OS.
BlackBerry needs to focus on a new physical keyboard device with a trackpad and back button (the Q10 lacking this design was a big mistake), that includes well-written Top 100 apps (80/20 rule here), and a good browser that properly sizes email images. This device should also have the detailed settings customization of previous Bolds (including categories for contacts and more ring tones), long battery life, and desktop software that works easily. The Neutron music player should be standard. Finally, I have no idea why BlackBerry went away from requiring BES. The security of BES is part of the appeal and exclusivity of the platform. BlackBerry needs to focus on catering to executive users and organizations that need security, with a BES device that focuses on the physical keyboard, smooth interface with Outlook Exchange, top notch messaging capabilities, high quality materials for the case and connector, the ability to use a docking cradle that charges the phone (home and car versions), and phone ease of use/call quality. The appeal of the Bold was the simplicity of the design around the most commonly used functions and superior messaging.
BlackBerry's recent announcement that it is moving away from the high-end handset business is in my view, a mistake on many levels, and both disappointing and illogical, and the last straw for me. It is hard to see a real future with this platform, which is why I moved away from it and bought an iPhone.

"Great product, but a hell of a learning curve."
mitchfletcher
Pros:
Big onscreen keyboard and insanely efficient predictive text. it's spooky almost. and im a big fan of the hub. this phone is fun to mess with and physically I find it to be the most attractive phone on the market.
Cons:
not enough space here, see summary
Summary:
Couple things. My biggest beef is the placement of the "send" button right next to the "." on the keyboard. I'm constantly sending half written texts. it was a stupid oversight in my opinion. and the omission of arrow keys to navigate the cursor around your text. moving it with your finger is not easy and i end up accidentally highlighting a bunch of stuff, which is not easy to unhighlight, then i somehow delete it all. i have yet to figure this out. the predictive text is extremely stubborn when you are purposely using a mis-spelling or fake word. its a battle to get the phone to accept it. i'm not a big fan of the text message interface at all.I was a longtime Windows phone user, which are pretty idiot proof. I've had my z10 for two months now and still not using it nearly as effortlessly as i used my WP.it's a fun phone if you are into to really messing around with your phone. i would not reccomend it if you are looking for ease of use.
